Not sure what to say?

RIP in heaven Big Jim. your presence will never be matched! A true gentleman and what the "70 knotters are all about"

Sad to hear of Jims passing. There was nothing that he couldn´t figure out and deal with. Jim had remarkable intellectual gifts that he always used to assist and uplift those who were bright enough to listen to him. Jim was generous and not the least bit materialistic, he was incredibly fun to hang out with. My condolences to his friends and loved ones. He was one of a kind!

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Jan. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jan and Family - Just a note to let you know you are being thought of and remembered in prayer at this time. May God´s comfort be felt as you face the days to come.

My sincere sympathy to Jim's family. He also had a "family" in Brodhead - the airport family. I met Jim when he first came to our Pietenpol flying with Dave Oberlin and Earl Isaacs. Jim was a wonderful part of our lives. His laugh could be heard around the firepit. We always looked forward to his arrival. Thank you for sharing your Jim with us. He will be deeply missed.

Jim was great colleague who will be missed by his friends. I can´t imagine how much his family members will miss him.

My deepest sympathies. I never met "Big Jim" but I heard lots of stories. May he rest in everlasting peace. I am a fellow aviator.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a valued friend and colleague. A lot mechanical knowledge will be lost. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
