I have known Jim since we were in 7th grade at Mary Crapo School in Swartz Creek, MI. We played sports together through high school and joined the Navy in our senior year along with 5 other classmates. Each of us went our separate ways, but Jim and I remained friends for the rest of our years even though we lived in different states. He was a great friend and will be missed. Sincere condolences to the family.
