VAUGHAN, James L. Jr., age 68, of Bon Air, suddenly passed away Friday, November 20, 2009. Jimmy retired as a Postmaster with the postal service after 32 years, and he kept active after retirement by driving a school bus for Chesterfield County and then worked for Enterprise Rental. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years, Carol King Vaughan; mother, Christine Marker Vaughan; three children, Jeff D. Vaughan (Pam), John D. Vaughan (Jane), and Lynn Vaughan Buch; seven grandchildren, Angie, Jacob and Sarah Vaughan, Julie and Traci Vaughan, and Chris and Andrew Sheffield; three brothers, Ronnie (Linda), Billy (Linda), Bobby (Becky); and sister, Ann Umpervitch (Al); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Bliley's- Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a chapel service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, November 23, 2009 at Bliley's- Chippenham, followed by interment at Dale Memorial Park.
