I worked with Jim Veeder at Renton Boeing back in 1968-70 in Manufacturing Personnel. He was a nice man and nice to me as a newcomer to the organization. My best memory of him: He took notice of the disorganization of the manuals on my desk and that they often fell over. One day he came to my office with a beautiful pair of book-ends - nice and heavy and shiny and chromed. He had the shop guys make them up for me.
He was a great guy - I am sorry you have lost him.
