James Vest

I'm sorry to hear that Jim is no longer among us. I remember him as an athlete of immense talent, 6'4" and 215 pounds while playing football, basketball and track for Puyallup High School. He was a Parade Magazine High School All-American, if I recall correctly. And I recall him as a gentle man, for which I was grateful, because I had to do blocking drills with him in Puyallup football practice, and he would shove me aside with the minimum force necessary.

I will always remember Jim, as a great big teddybear..so gentle and kind. A loving, caring father, and the joy and love he brought to Cayla and Jordan's eyes when Papa was coming to pick them up:-)

Gentleman Jim.... you've left an empty spot in our hearts.

You will always be in our thoughts! The fairways are open. Hit'em straight and long!

Jim we will miss you ,Please rest you will need it for all the fishing and golf you will be doing !! And by the way get all of us a tee time in the Heavens of God . WE LOVE YOU
