James B. Walter

My sincerest condolences to the Walter family. Shortly before his passing I was reconnected with other members of the family. My grandmother was Ethel Walter who married James Kerr Bowman. Ethel Walter was the only living sibling to Jim's father William Henry Hartman Walter. For years my grandmother's family kept up with and visited with Jim and his father, becoming close friends. So Jim was finally able to learn why he was named James Bowman Walter. (And BTW, my father was William Walter...
