Not sure what to say?

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We met Jim when we were invited to become part of the SRI tailgater's group for the Stanford football home games in the fall of 1989.

Jim was most often the first to greet us when we would arrive, with his warm and bubbling personality. And it was fun the rest of the day. We will forever remember the good times we had together.

We ask God to bless the Wangsness family with love and peace especially during this time as you go through your healing process from your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Jim was such a nice person. We used to tailgate with the SRI group at the Stanford games.

I worked with Jim when I joined the Corporate Security Department at SRI International, Menlo Park, in 1985 until he left to join Bechtel in San Francisco. He was always a person of great character and humor.

We comprised a group of tailgaters for the Stanford football home games. Jim was the provider of humor and a gourmet cook for the evening meals prepared onsite after the games. I have laughted many times at the changes in his demeanor when Jeanne, 'The Whip," would join us for...

I knew Mr. Wangness for quite a few years. He was always so cheerful and full of life and a very nice person! My deepest sympathy to his family.

I worked with Jim for several years at Bechtel National. He was the security manager for several programs of importance to Bechtel and to the Nation. Jim was very effective in his job and took great pride in doing things correctly. I have very good memories of Jim and will miss him. Jim and the entire family will be in my prayers.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I sat in an office next to him for a few years and really appreciated his sunny and pleasant disposition. I pray for your comfort during your sorrow.
