So sorry that we could not be with you all today. Please know that we are thinking of you. We will always treasure the times we shared with Poochie, he was one of a kind. Our very best to you.

You're fortunate in your lifetime if you meet a person like Poochie. He always had a joke or story to share with a big smile on his face. He always had a nice word and was in a pleasant mood.He truly wiil be missed by all that knew him. I know Pomoco of Smithfield wll not be the same without him.

I'm glad to had known Poochie, He was my buddy and good person to have, I going to miss poochie. He taught me eveything I know about parts. Thanks for all the lunches!! Im sorry thats He's gone.. It was a great pleasure to work with him in parts.

I can honestly say that Poochie was my best friend at Gwaltney/Pomoco. He kept me on my toes! We spent everyday laughing and joking around. Poochie was always a character! He always had an interesting story to tell and I loved to hear them. I will truly miss him as will everyone.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER POOCHIE AS A KIND MAN, WHO WAS WILLING TO HELP WHEN NEEDED. I WILL MISS HIM IN OUR POMOCO FAMILY.

My first encounter with Poochie was in 1958 when I moved to Smithfield. He was a fixture at Gwaltney Motor Co., as much so as the owners. He was always helpful, pleasant, jovial, and knowledgeable. No doubt his presence at the Company helped make the Company what it was - fair, modern, helpful, pleasant, etc. As far as I am concerned he was an icon of the area and will be truly missed.

My deepest sympathies at your loss. I worked with Poochie in Smithfield for a few years and enjoyed his humor and kindness for that brief time. He will be missed.
