Watling family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Although we did not know your father, Maggie has told us endless good things about him. I know he will be sadly missed.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I knew Jim when I was his colleague in the Faculty of Education, and appreciated his dedication and hard work.

I was sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Although we didn't always see eye to eye, I remember with fondness and respect the many years we worked together. His book illustrations remain an inspiration.

I am very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was my professor of art education in 1964, my McGill colleague until he retired, and my neighbour in Rawdon. A truly gentle, thoughtful, and artistic man, he will be greatly missed.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your recent loss. I had the pleasure of working with Jim on committees in the Faculty of Education over the years and enjoyed his keen mind and good sense of humour. I know he will be sorely missed.
