Not sure what to say?

Dear Aida and Family
Our deepest sympathies to you and the family on the loss of Jimmy. He and Daniel are together again on the other side. Jimmy was one of Dan's earliest recruits as a field training officer in 19th district. He will be greatly missed.

I really hate to hear about James Melvin. I remember him as a very nice polite quiet young man who did not have much to say but when he did say something you knew it was fact. He was the most intelligent person in our graduating class and I was honored to know him. SUSAN (DAUGHERTY) MURPHY

Sgt Watson was a good Sgt - My sympathy goes out to the Family. God Bless You

Aida, Mary and Family,
Jimmy was a kind, sweet and thoughtful man. He will be greatly missed. We are thinking of you and praying for your comfort in the days to come. We love you.

David & Michele

Heartfelt and prayerful condolences from the Chicago Police Chaplains' Ministry. Jim will be remembered at our next twice-monthly Mass at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls (1140 W. Jackson Blvd) on Sunday, 10 JUL at 11:00 a.m. Family is certainly welcome. In the meantime, may you know the healing touch of Jesus Christ during this difficult time.

With depest sympathy.

Our condolences to the Watson family and friends. Sergeant Watson was one of the first leaders of our Community Policing program in the 23rd District. We are grateful for having met him, and for his contributions to our City and our community. Donald and Joyce Franklin (Chicago, IL--Lakeview)

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I was sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He was such a good neighbor and a great companion for my father. He will very much be missed. My condolences to the Watson family.
