Not sure what to say?

I knew Dickie at the First United Methodist Church in Longview. He was five years ahead of me in school, but both of our families were active in the church. I'm not surprised to see he was active in the Dallas community and contributed a great deal--a life well-lived. Nancy, Stephen, and Sarah, my deepest condolences to you and your families for your loss.

Dickie is my cousin. His absence at family gatherings will be sad,but his positive mood, and bubbly attitude will always remembered!

Uncle Dick was always a joy to hang out with and talk to. My kids all adored him. He was very loving and positive. He will truly be missed!

Dickie's greatest legacy is his enormous collection of friends. We will, without exception and with mixed success, try to pass along his cheerful and giving ways.

Dickie was the epitome of a Southern gentleman. Kind, thoughtful, always a smile and hug. His help and generous spirit made a huge difference to many in Dallas.

Dick was one of my closest friends for about 35 years after o returned to live in Texas. As time passed and we all got older, we did not see each other that often. He was one of the kindest and most generous person I´ve ever known. Even though we did not see him often, he always will have a special place in my heart.

I don't believe that anyone could see Dickie Weaver or be in his presence without feeling happy. He always had a big smile on his face, and it was just great to be around him.

It causes me great sadness to think of Dick´s passing. He was such an incredibly nice, kind, accomplished and generous soul. During my 10 years in Dallas he was a standard bearer for honorability. My sincerest condolences to his family and his close friends who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
