Not sure what to say?

I am so sad that my beloved boss, Jim Weber, passed away during Covid-19 and there was no memorial service. He will always live on in my special memories!

I knew James as Jimmy while we were at the Univ. of Florida. He was fun to be around, likeable and the kind of
Friend you would want. Attached photo Edited by me.

I remember Jim from our days at the University of Florida as members of Sigma Chi Fraternity. His good life exemplifies our fraternity’s Jordan Standard for membership: “A man of good character, a student of fair ability, with ambitious purposes, a congenial disposition, possessed of good morals, having a high sense of honor, and a deep sense of personal responsibility.”

All Sigma Chi’s pay our tribute of love and respect for the memory of our beloved Brother Jim Weber.

Our hearts feel your heartache, as grief & loss in a family is felt by all members of a family... I am reminded about the verse in the Bible that says "Jesus wept"(John 11:35). He knew the pain of loss when His dear friend Lazarus died..So He knows & as God of all comfort, He will provide strength for the hard days, comfort for the quiet days, as we remember Jim, a stronghold of love & support to all who knew him , especially his family..Please know we love you all & you are being thought of...

Jim was our neighbor in the mid 70's and helped us professionally in the early 90's and mid 2000's. He welcomed us as if there was no gap in time. We always enjoyed his company, especially that laugh of his; it was reserved but always heartfelt and in good humor. As time passed we tried to keep up with Jim and his growing family, all just wonderful people. He was a very special person who will always be close to our hearts and memories.

My memories of Uncle Jim are mostly from my childhood. The yellow beach house, boating, skiing...things that make you smile. I remember Uncle Jim being a man who said a little but meant a lot! He showed care and concern in a serious but gentle way. He seemed to have high expectations and I wonder how many people found they could dig a little deeper because the bar was set higher. Im praying for all of you as you grieve this loss, praying Jesus will meet you right where you are and fill you...

It turned out to be a very special thing in my life when my sister married Jim Weber which brought me to be an extended member of the Weber family. It has ever since been an honor for me to relate to Jim as a brother because of that marriage. I have always known Jim to be a quiet and even tempered gentleman who was always kind and helpful to everyone he ever met. One "nice" thing that I did for Jim was to wreck his brand new Audi - actually just a fender bender. Did Jim show any anger -...

What a great gentleman. I am truly sorry for your loss. James Weber will be missed and he will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.

Jim and I began the practice of law together at Beggs & Lane in 1971, and shared many experiences. He was a close friend, and I will greatly miss him.
