Not sure what to say?

Mr. Weedon has a kind and gentle soul and spirit and he lived a long and wonderful life. He was a close and dedicated friend to my Dad (Willie Fordham) and our family and he will be dearly missed. He is also an amazing athlete as demonstrated in the Negro Baseball League and his legacy, service to our country, and to our City of Harrisburg will live on forever.

Rest well Mr. Weedon and thank you for all you've done and given to us.

Sincerely,

To my Family The Weedon's, May God be with you during this time.

To the family of Mr. Jim Weedon:

My name is Yvonne Brown-Griffin, and my father was Mr. Leroy "Brownie" Brown. He and Mr. Weedon were good friends, as was my mother, Dorothy and Mrs. Weedon. I have to tell you my heart is very heavy to see this wonderful, humorous, kind, gentle man in the obits. I met Mr. Weedon years ago, as a young child, and as an adult, I saw the love he and my father share as friends...and then I got to know Mr. Weedon on a personal level...I began to call him...

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF JIM'S PASSING. JIM AND I WERE FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS AS WE BOTH BELONGED TO HARRISBURG AND CARLISLE BEAGLE CLUBS TOGETHER.
JIM WAS A CLASS ACT IN SO MANY WAYS AND I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM.WHEN I THINK OF ALL THE GUYS I ENJOYED FOR SO MANY YEARS COMPETING WITH THE DOGS, JIM IS RIGHT THERE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST.
GOD BLESS YOU, JIM WEEDON, I WILL NOT FORGET YOU.

To the Family,
Please except my heartfelt condolences on the loss of you loved one. May God continue to comfort you during this difficult time.
