Not sure what to say?

A VERY belated message -- I was fortunate to have had many inspirational teachers in my lifetime. Mr. Weidner is absolutely one of those about whom I frequently think, or one of those whom I frequently think about. (Copilot is telling me I should end the sentence with my prepositions -- I really wonder what Mr. Wiedner would think of that!) He expanded my understanding of natural and global perspectives by exposing my class and me to brilliant and profound themes in literary classics. He...

This is a belated addition to the accolades from former students. Jim Weidner was an icon and a legend in his own time at NBC. He served as a positive example and role model for hundreds of students including myself. It was thanks to Mr. Weidner that I chose to pursue a career in education. Thanks to his encouragement, I became a teacher, a building principal, college professor, and the holder of a PhD in school leadership. There are hundreds of stories like mine. The world is a poorer...

Mr. Weidner was one of my all time favorite teachers at NBC. He had a gift for treating students as young adults while at that same time demanding their best. He was a gifted teacher and had a great sense of humor. I pray that he is sailing his boat now into a peaceful and well deserved eternity. God Rest His Soul...

Mr. Weidner was one my most favorite of all teachers - Freshman English was such a great class and I'll always remember his wit and somewhat avant guard teaching style. My thoughts to the Weidner family.

Condolences to the family of Mr. Weidner. I was a math person but he helped me to enjoy English. I remember how he referred to as the quiet one. Sorry for your loss.

I was blessed to have four great English teachers in high school, but the one I loved best to write with was James Weidner. That hour in his classroom in 68-69 was an adventure as well as a daily respite from stress. Thank you, Mr. Weidner. May your family find sweet peace following this sorrow.

Jaime I will miss you!

Mr. Weidner was a great teacher who brought the best out in his HS students while challenging them in a nice way to do even better.
