Not sure what to say?

I didn't know that Jim had passed away until today during Wycliffe's world day of prayer. What a special couple Jim and Mary were to me during my days as a student in training in Dallas. They were so creative, made me laugh, and shared many meals with me. I remember Jim so fondly and am so sorry for your loss, Mary and family.

Worked with Jim at TVFR and always a class act. Very calm and friendly and sorry for thes loss. I did not know that he hailed from Hood River, which is my home town as well.

Our family extends all of our love and prayers to Mary and family during these difficult times. Jim will be missed by many! But never forgotten.

I am very sorry to hear Jim's passing. It is because of Jim, my flying career has spanned for over 30+ years. He gave me my first ever flying lesson with logbook and signed entry when we both had a day off from the FD. I raise my glass, Godspeed and Blue Skies, was a true pleasure to know and have worked with you.

Capt. Jim Weller was a remarkable man and leader. I was a probabtionary Firefighter under Capt. Weller and he was a real example of integrity, knowledge and leadership. I have never forgotten him nor will I forget him. He is in Heaven now where he always strived to be. God bless Jim and his family.

One of the most positive influencers in my life. Jim knew how to reach the people he had stewardship over in a teaching capacity.

I am grateful for the impact he had on my life.
