JAMES WESTGATE

I am the owner of one of Jim's beautiful pieces of furniture. It has held a place of honor in three homes, held many glasses of wine and cups of coffee, and been privy to many conversations. Jim also made the container for Karl's ashes when he died 12 years ago. The matching container for my ashes awaits. Jim was a soft spoken person, loved his family fiercely, made really wicked wine and restored many many cars. He will be greatly missed.

I am a Reeths-Puffer graduate, class of 73. I took all the woodworking classes available during senior high. I was a student in Mr. Westgates wood working classes. I really enjoyed his class and learned all the basics of wood working that I have never forgotten. I've been doing wood working as a hobby ever since high school. ( I also was in one of Mr. Warners classes) He was a great teacher and I enjoyed going to his classes.
