Not sure what to say?

Andy, Kathy, Jennifer and Sara,
Jim was a dear and beloved friend. Growing up next door to the Westins has given me many memories of our times together. I spoke to Jim by phone the weekend before he died. He was kind, trustworthy, and generous. I will miss him.

Eliza and I wish to send our condolences to Jim's daughters, to Joan, and the other Westins. Jim was a brilliant, thoughtful, kind and hard-working man, just as he was from boyhood on. My wife and I were pleased on the few occasions he would drop by in Ann Arbor after a football game. Now I wish I had pressed him to come regularly. Mary Brecht kept me up on Jim's doings, so I always felt in touch. And we chatted by phone sometimes about some of our mutual musical interests. I'm deeply...

Jim was a Great guy from highschool. We had lots of fun with different big projects in Physics building the cyclotron with Hugh Kahler and all the fun and challenges from Mary K. Hartz with her major projects in Advanced Biology. Also working on the newspaper and the annual and other school projects...Jim was always a blast and we got the work done with lots of kudos too.
Sorry we had so little contact after we went to college. He had a great impact on all who were fortunate to...

I certainly enjoyed working with your father during my tenure at Connable Associates. He was always kind and gentle, and I had great admiration of his expertise in his field. He will be deeply missed by the community and the clients of Connable Associates.

Jenny and Sara, we send you our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear father. He'll be greatly missed. Sincerely, Harriet and Dale Angell

We are so sorry for your loss. Jim made a wonderful impact on Alma College through his role on the Board of Trustees. He was such a nice man and took this leadership role seriously. We appreciated him as a person and as a professional and we will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Jim will be missed at Cardiac Rehab.
