Read MoreI knew Alfred from grade school. He was my friend and being several years older than myself, became my protector on several occasions when others wanted to take advantage of me. My grandfather and I gave him many rides home from school and I always remember his appreciative spirit. I'm sorry that things turned out the way they did but I know he is in a wonderful place.
