James Edward White, son of the late Nathaniel Scott
and late Catherine Alston. James was born
January 26, 1944 in Littleton North Carolina.
On Sunday, December 10,2017, the Lord sent one
of His angels to VA Hospital in Baltimore to take
James to his eternal home.
James received his formal education at Littleton,
North Carolina and graduated from McIver High school
in 1962. After graduation, James came to Baltimore to
make a career. His first job was at Howard Johnson
Restaurant, and he also worked at the Cloverland Milk Co.
as a driver. James found that this was not the career for
him, so he entered the United States Army where he
served his country faithfully for years, which included
a tour duty at Vietnam. While on duty, he was wounded
and received his Purple Heart and other medals.
After serving his country, James returned to Baltimore,
where he became employed with Maryland Transit
Administration (MTA) as a Bus Operator and Heavy
Rail Operator. After serving 30 years at MTA, James'
illness caused him to retire.
James loved his Mig and would do anything for her
to make sure she was happy. If you don't know who
his Mig is, that would be the love of his life, his wife
Angel. James was'! caring, giving, kind, hard worker,
and loved by everyone. He was the person that, if
you needed anything, he was there for you. He
loved to travel to Myrtle Beach, eat, and watch tv.
Most of all, he loved his family.
James leaves to cherish his memories: His devoted
and loving wife, Mig or Angel, two daughters,
Channell, Patreka, one son, Sean (Christina),
