Not sure what to say?

I knew Jim when I was at American Airlines. I flew with him many times. Some trip tonSouth zamerica like Asunción Paraguay.
I had the distinct honor of being paired with him when he went through trading to become a Captain for his very first time. I was being trained to be a copilot on the McDonald Douglas DC-9 Super 80. It was Sherry the " luck of the draw" that I was paired with him. I believe that was about 1986. He upgraded to Captain His first Captain position at...

A gifted pilot, always laughing and so genuine with everyone. He was so well liked by co-workers and personal friends. he as slipped the surly bonds of earth and is with our savoir Jesus Christ.

Marlow and Marko,
Glenn and I were so sorry to read about your father’s passing. We always knew we were in for a good time when saw him at Saint Ed’s events, and especially enjoyed talking with him about the good old days in Pensacola. What a great guy. Take care, and know that we send you and all the family thoughts of comfort and strength.

Jimmy and I were classmates at Trans Carib in 1968. As the years passed we would see each other in AA Operations. Jim was funny witty ambitious. A true friend! Too all of his family and friends he will be missed. Rest in peace Jim Bill Bohlke

It was always a pleasure to run into Jim. His broad smile and engaging personality. He had a nickname for me as the orchid lady and would bring me his ailing orchids. He will be missed! My condolences to the family and prayers of comfort during this time of sorrow. ❤

He had a long life and a lot of the good things.

One day we received a crazy pilot in our house in Chile 35 years ago, who claimed to be our cousin, this was the beginning of a beautiful and true friendship. We were fortunate to meet Jim although it was never easy to understand his English, although after meeting the rest of the family, they also told us that it was difficult for them to pronounce it. He was always a loving and close guy, we will certainly miss him.
