Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Jim my very first day at the U. We lost touch after graduation but he remains today, in memory, one of my most cherished friends. I know he will be dearly missed.

I had the privilege to work with JW at DLYC for several years. He was a source of inspiration and a fountain of creativity. He loved working with the youth and found the best of everyone. Those who knew him will miss him greatly. God Bless

GIL and BOYS: Jim and I go way back to Glendale HS. We were great friends and teammates through high school and UTAH. We were room mates in college. He was in my wedding party. We had some memorable times over the years.I have thought of Jim often over the years and would laugh out loud over some of our adventures. I am so sorry for your loss. He will always be in my thoughts and memories.

JW you will always hold a special place in my heart...working with you at the Bongo was always a good time. You will be greatly missed
God Bless You my Friend

I worked with JW for 6 years have enjoyed his stores. And his old time movies, He even love John Wayne. He always made me feel good when things were not right, I learned a lot about life and how to smile. I loved your father I did look up to him. Best wishes. I hope things go well with you. And my Prayers are with you.

I too played Football with "J-DUB" at the University of Utah and Played on the Baseball Team when he Coached. One of the greatest Guys I've ever known. I could never be sad when he was around. His wish was for us all to be happy, I will be everytime I remember him. He added a lot to my life.

Derek,I am so sorry for your loss. It is a privilege to say your Dad was a friend for over 40 years. He was one hell of a guy. Save a cold one for me up there pard. Too many good times to list.

Kyle and Derek, What a beautiful tribute to your Dad. Jim was about being happy and having fun. He will be so missed. I personally will miss the Sunday afternoon conversations that we had. It seems like Jim went way too young, but this was his decision. He was a man right up to the end. I loved Jim so much and I will miss him not being in my life...your Dad will alwyas be in my thoughts and prayers....Love Aunt Jill

I worked with JW at Decker Lake Youth facility from 1990 through 2008.
I remembered the happy and the funny stories he told me when he lived in Chicago and in California.
JW will always bring old classic movies to watch during the grave yard shift, sometimes he brought movies i had to watch over and over again with him. However,he made sure we did our security checks every fifteen minutes.
I remembered as stated in the obituary that JW always said that; "i want to have the...
