James Everett Whiteley

Jim was my close friend for 65 yrs and I can readily recall many shared trips and golf games during which he was always the gentleman.
Fortunately we were briefly in Portland and I
visited Jim July 9th. For thirty minutes I had a one-way conversation while he dozed but as I
turned to leave he managed to whisper "love you always, buddy".
I've always considered his extended family to
be friends and we wish you all the best. Many thanks to Patti for the phone call and...

Dear Linda-- My best wishes and kindest regards to you and your family at the passing of your father. Your parents must have been just wonderful. I didn't know your grandparents but I do remember they lived next door to us in Raleighwood back in the day. In my years with SIC Jim was a great friend and the person you went to get things done. Shared many dood times and fond memories, he will be missed. Best to the family.

My condolences to Jims family. What a great guy you all had for a father. I enjoyed my days hanging out with him at The Stafford. Everyday was different but always full of laughter and adventure. Thanks for sharing him with me. He loved you all very much.
