STATEN ISLAND BLACK LIKE ME/ NEW YORK STATE ATHELETE / A GREAT GRAET ACTOR I DO BELIEVE IF YOU BLOOD TAG HIM HARRY TRUMAN

Dear Mr. Whitmore and family, I am so late posting these thoughts but they are nevertheless from the heart. What a huge fan I am of your work! I know how much you loved the High Sierras mountains here in California and I was once privileged to see you turn into Will Rogers before my eyes in an evening while in Mammoth Lakes. You simply enchanted everyone. Also you were fantastic in The Shawshank Redemption, one of the best movies ever made and one I’ve seen many times. Thank you for...

Just watched James Whitmore in a episode of Rawhide tidaled " Incident of the Dogfaces". Such a great actor. Love him & miss him. I wish he could have kept turning out more movies. Hope to see him in Heaven someday.

Mr. Whitmore was such a wonderful actor, I hate to be a day late and a dollar short, however I was just watching an older episode of CSI Las Vegas and recognised his familiar face, ahhhh I said to myself, There is a beloved face from my past and I remembered many roles he played, and thought, "Ah I miss that face!!!"

I will miss you. You were my favorite actor In ever movie you were in that I lost loved to watched. Even seeing in movies even if your dead makes me cry. Your in a better place. Ashes at sea and your in heaven.

Loved your roles in The Twilight Zone and Big Valley!

Mr. James Whitmore....A veteran of stage, screen and tv..you never disappointed. You always stressed authenticity and verve. Luckily for us all, the silver screen and the small screen will cast your image thru the ages....You will be missed.

Always liked his work. Still looking for a video of "Bully" to show my son.
