James Wigger

Although it has been 60 years since I have seen Coach Wigger, the profound impact he had on my life when he encouraged me to get involved in track in 8th grade still resonates with me. My love of athletics, competition, and teamwork continues to this day and I am thankful for his role in that. He was a great role model, teacher, and coach, and I was blessed to have been part of his 60´s teams. My condolences to his family. His was a life well lived.

I had the pleasure to know Jim as a teacher, coach, colleague and friend for 65+ years. It would be hard count the many lives Jim impacted in his illustrious career. He truly cared about his student athletes, which is evident from the many testimonials that have been shared since his passing.
