Jim was a cantankerous, opinionated old cuss who would bend over backwards to help Eric and me with so many things, lincluding carpentry, plumbing, bike repair, electrical work I will miss his most excellent grilling, Sunday evenings watching football and Colombo, and mostly, his engaging company. Jim was one of the first people I met when I came to Thurmont in 2015. We sat through many town meetings on Tuesday evenings and he inspired me to participate in the town committees. I worked with him on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Jim was never at a loss for words whether it be the town meetings or the planning and zoning commission. I will truly miss seeing him at the town meetings and hearing his public comments. God bless...
