James M. "Jim" Wilson

Such a good man and wonderful coach. Gone too soon and missed by so many.

Gail, I am so sad to hear of Jim's passing. I was out of town or I would have come by the funeral home. I'm so sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.

Gail and Wilson Family. We are so sorry for your loss. I am forever grateful for what Jim taught me as a young man on the football field and off. He helped mold me into who I am today. I just want to say thank you to the entire family and my prayers are with you during this tough time.

Jim was a colleague of mine at Glencliff HS. His first year there was my second year... we were both in the science department and for one year had rooms next to each other. That first year I knew him, I quickly learned what a tremendous coach and teacher he was. I saw the relationships that he had with his students. I always admired him and am greatly saddened by his loss.

Mrs. Wilson and family, I was fortunate to have your husband as a teacher at Goodpasture (Class of 83'). As all previous statements have stated, he was not only a teacher, but a caring man. I offer my sincere condolences and may God wrap his loving arms around you and your entire family during this difficult time. Gail, Jerry and I are both saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great coach and will be missed by all that knew him.

I had Coach Wilson for science class in 9th grade, he would sit on a desk in front of class and teach. He was a great teacher and I'm sure an excellent coach as well. Wish I could have visited with him before he passed. Much sympathy to his family.

Coach Wilson had a great effect on my life. It was not just on the field, but off.
He was a great example of how to live a Christian life especially when you are not treated in kind.
The world lost a true giant this week, but God has surely gained one.
