Not sure what to say?

February 18, 2015 - One year has passed and I'm sure I've had Jim in my thoughts every day for the last 365 days. I miss his calls on my birthday, I miss his Christmas cards, I miss his random calls out of the blue. He led an active existence and I miss his stories relating his adventures. He personified what every "big brother" should be and I'll love and miss him every day for the rest of my life. Thank you all for your kind remembrances of Jim. Helen Smith

I met Jim a number of times in Campbell River and enjoyed hearing his stories of the times he spent mingling with the stars!

It is with saddness that we offer our condolences to all of Jimmy's family. By all accounts it sounds like he lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. We still live on his Grandfather's homestead and his log house is still standing.

I am saddened about Jims leaving us and was not aware of his on going and extensive illness. We had good times together he introduced me to golf out on Millner's flats where they had lived for a while. Heart felt condolences and prayers for and to the family Neil Butler
