Not sure what to say?

Miss you Jim. Always will.

I don't think anyone has ever made me laugh as hard as Jim did back in Cleveland in the early 70's with the Crusaders, when my husband, his teammate, and I shared the same apartment building where many a post-game beer was washed down in our suite. His dart skills were terrific then and his stories legendary. Particularly remember a game in Minneapolis where he'd got into quite a scrap the previous game and the media had made a very big deal of his return. Jim shows up on the ice for...

Sincere sympathy to the entire Wiste Family. We are thinking particularly of Wayne, a school mate.

Jim was a great person and I am glad I was able know him!!!

So sorry we couldn't attend the memorial for Jim. He was one of our favorite people in the world, and he will be missed by so many. Lots of fond memories of hanging out at the Campus - almost 40 years of Tuesday night gatherings, Sunday morning breakfasts, and various sporting events. Jim always treated us like family. Our sincere condolences to Joanie and all those who loved Jim like we did.

Jim was as fine, decent and kind a person one could ever hope to know. He gave real and special meaning to the word friendship. I feel honored to have been able to call him a "friend". He made the world as better place. God bless him.

i knew Jim through my late husband John Wilson. John and Jim were friends for at least 40 some years. What a wonderful sweet man Jim was!!!! I remember going to the Campus for the 2015 Bronco super bowl party and of course Jim made sure all of his friends were well fed and plenty to drink. Jim will be so missed but my friend never forgotten .Carol Wilson
