Served with Jim on the uss o hare dd889. Was a good friend. Last time I saw him was around 1970. I went back in the Navy and did 2o years, did not know he did the same. Also retired as a chief and settled in maine. Never know he was so close,thought about him often. He helped me with a problem I had earlier in my life.
