James Paul Wong

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Wong's passing. As connecting yard neighbors, and kid friends, we spent many hours racing back and forth and through the houses. It is amazing to me to realize what an impressive back story he had...as kids we were just oblivious. My two biggest memories are of visiting his a few steps down office with the drafting boards and plans all around. And at home, his feet up relaxing in an Eames chair, and I think with a cigar as well..

Fond memories from my work with Mr. Wong frequently visit my consciousness. Mr. Wong's tenacity, fond encouragement to others and his indomitable problem solving inspire good deeds..."What would Jim do...?" May each memory treasured, shared give support to comfort those who are left behind.

Saddened to hear of his passing. Jim designed our home for us. The entire process of design and construction was fun; something we've found few people can say. We credit Jim for all of that.

What an amazing life! Godspeed the next leg of his journey. Much love and gentle hugs to Lin and family.
