I will miss you every day. Although I haven't lived in Summerfield for quite sometime and I didn't get home as often as I would have liked to, the world feel a little more empty knowing you're no longer with us. I feel so lucky to have know you as long as I did and I am so glad you passed along your love of the land and gardening to me. You were a great, kind and very funny soul. Thank you for everything you taught me. Love your grand daughter, Olivia

We always enjoyed spending time with Woody and talking to him about his family, his time in the navy and his garden. He will forever live on in our memories of him and when we pick our first vegetable from the garden we will think of Woody and be reminded of his generosity to others in sharing his bounty.
Thank you Don and Carolyn for giving us the opportunity to get to know such a warm and kind man. ...
