Goodbye for now, James Kelly Workman. You are beloved and will be missed by many until we are reunited. Jim's time on Earth ended June 12, 2021, following a traffic collision in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. His passing is unexpected, but we believe that Jim has been greeted by Jesus and...

Not sure what to say?

Dear Beth, it has almost been a lifetime since the beginnings of Peace being held in your home back then. My son was the one who alterted me to Jim's passing. So sorry to hear of his death especially in the manner in which he died. However, it is comforting to know we will see him again, one day and maybe sooner than we think. May your many memories and God's blessing carry you through the difficult and long days ahead.

Dearest Beth, Rob, Matt, Kelly and all your precious family, Doug and I regret we will not be able to be with you tomorrow for Jim's funeral. His death brought great sadness to us & all who knew and loved him but none more than his family. We have so much love for each of you and the important place you will always have in our hearts & lives. Though time and place has separated us for many years, our memories of you and our times together in Cary are vivid and treasured. We send our love and...

Jim and Beth and their family lived behind our house on Holly Springs Rd in Raleigh. The Workman children had free range of our house and yard with our children. Our in the yard conversations were usually about the construction progress of their home and ours, our kids, church, or the beauty of surrounding nature. After a chat with Jim we came away smiling. We've only seen Jim at a few family celbrations over the past 30 years but we still call the house behind us the "'Workman house". Even...

Our hearts & prayers remain with the whole family. What a beautiful tribute to your dear Dad & Pa. Mr. Jim´s great smile, laughter & personality always added fun positivity to any crowd. The same warmth & kindness always remains... when his family smiles. Your treasured memories bring comfort through the grief process. Much love to you all, Kimmie & Cliff

We live in Brickyard Plantation. My son saw the aftermath of the accident as it had just occurred and called me distraught because he knew the outcome by what he saw.
We do not know one another personally but, we want to send our condolences and prayers for your loss.
May the soul of your faithful departed, by the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Rest In Peace Jim
