To the family,
I was very saddened to hear this news. Mr. Wright was my favorite teacher in high school. I graduated in 2001 and at graduation they gave us all a post card to send to a teacher to tell them how they impacted our lives. I sent mine to Mr. Wright. He made me love history and I'll never forget how passionate he was about what he taught. 9th grade is not easy! I missed him since the day I left Nazareth Area High School. God bless.

To Mrs. Wright and family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I was not fortunate enough to have Mr. Wright as a teacher, but I did enjoy reading his column in The Express Times. He also helped me learn more details about a historical event in our family tree. He went out of his way to give me printed information and even a picture. His love of history was very obvious. It is easy to see how he passed his love of history on to his students. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Mr. Wright was a teacher who taught with passion and was instrumental in making history enjoyable for many students and readers of his newspaper column. I can remember to this day how he engaged his students as a great storyteller of our American History.

I am very sorry to hear this news. I served with Jim in the good old days of the 96th PVI. Jim was a stand up guy. A real tribute to the memory of those who we tried to portray. You will be sadly missed Jim.

Mrs Wright and Family,
Ive had the pleasure to know your husband and father as someone that I call my Favorite Teacher of All Time! 8th grade American History in his old room, with his candlelight Edgar Allen Poe readings, Mr Wright's cracking a shot from his musket out the window toward Schmidt's Mortuary are unforgettable. I can remember time well spent in his class like it was yesterday. And that will be how I remember him, too.
