Today as I sat at the memorial service and heard the kind words and some familar stories about Judge Wright, I realized how lucky I too was to have known him. Even though I only knew him as a patient in our dental office, he was always gracious, friendly, handsome, witty and full of surprises. He was definetly a favorite of mine. As an attorney and then as a Judge, Judge Wright was a scholar and a gentleman who gave everyone a fair hearing. He was a kind man with a good heart and a gentle soul. My sincerest sympathy to his family on their loss.

Jamie, Jimmy and Kelly I am so sorry to hear about your dad. As I look at his picture it brings back fond memories of our childhood as your next door neighbor. My mother Dora Mercado and I send our love and prayers for your family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Judge Wright was called Gentleman Jim Wright by those of us in law enforcement. He was a fair man and his use of the term "Sentence as prescribed by law" was welcomed by all officers who had the privledge of knowing him

My heart goes out to Judge Wright's family at this sad time, especially to his children. To lose both parents in such a short time is a difficult burden to bear, but be comforted that they are now together in God's presence and are no longer in pain.
The legacy they have left behind is a strong one, reflected in you. Kelly, I am proud to call you my friend, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
