I remember making “ beer” bets with Mr. Jim when the Oilers played the Steelers. He was a gracious winner, as well as loser. I’m sorry to hear that he died. Mrs. Yoder, you are in my prayers. Pat you and Jim were such good friends to my parents Velma and Carey Martin. Me and my husband Michael always enjoyed hearing Jim tell stories during our lunches at Al Fresco. He had such a wonderful personality and will be dearly missed.

One of the truly great pleasures in my life's journey was to have had Jim as my best friend- (a very special friend) since, way back, in 1943---when we met in the 8th grade (80 years ago). We did most things together back ibn those days;- and while it is impossible here to list all the things we did together they would include playing baseball, basketball--double dating--working in my Dad's store delivering groc.--'cutting-up' in class--just 'hanging out'--taking little side trips--...
