My husband and I know the Young's from Greenwater, the small mountain community where they family cabin is located. I remember Jim as a very gentle and kind man. Jim was a very smart and witty person whom I had great respect for. He was a pillar in Greenwater where they had a cabin across the river from me. He spearheaded many issues involving the Greenwater
improvement Club. My condolences to your family

I will always remember Mr.Young as our Junior High band, and orchestra director. He recorded our music solos, and the RHS band rehearsals in the band room recording studio. Mr.Young took many photos of the band's halftime performances during football games as well as our band trips, and activities. I have several of those photos to this day which provide fond memories of the way things were when I was a student at RHS (1957-1963). I will never forget you James A. Young!
