James B. Young

James Young was one of my upperclassmen in high school, and I remember him fondly. We all called him "showboat," and I never knew why. What I do remember is that whenever you saw him, he always had a smile on his face, and his laugh was loud and infectious. He always made me feel at ease as I tried to sell fire alarms (as my sponsor), and he was very kind (when I didn't). He was a beacon of light and optimism. He will be missed by so many.
