Not sure what to say?

We extend our deepest warmth, love, sadness, and prayers of Jimmy?s passing to the next journey... to the beautiful Zink family and friends.

I (and my sister) grew up in the loving light and beautiful friendship of Jimmy... during the teenage years of self-discovery. We had many wonderful and fun childhood journeys!

Words can not express the sadness I feel upon just learning of Jimmy?s passing (I was too late in finding out how to utilize the computer in finding and...

Another story for you - did you know Jim really enjoyed cooking? His specialties were his Thanksgiving corn pudding, chili and a leek and potato soup that he loved. He was not a recipe follower. As in most things he just barged ahead with fresh herbs and vegetables and hoped for the best. He was always hoping for the best. Heartfelt thanks to his neighbors, friends and co-workers who have expressed their caring for Jim.

I am another of Jim's neighbors, 2 doors down. Jim was a welcoming presence in our neighborhood, often to be found working his little flower garden out front. Friendly and chatty, he was, as Heidi notes above, the"perfect neighbor." He was also VERY sweet with his dogs and cat and I always say you can tell a lot about a person by observing their relationship with their animals. They're missing him! Rest in Peace Jim!

We only met Jim a few times at some Thompson family occasions, but he left an impression on me of a kind thoughtful person who was genuine and made appoint of asking you how you were doing. He was a special person. We are sorry for the loss of Jim but are glad we got to meet such a sincere person.

My dear friend Jim. Not much else I can say. We met just after his surgery 4 years ago and became the best of friends. We helped each other through some difficult times and spent a great deal of time sharing favorite passtimes...playing cards, board games, long walks and swims with our dogs, the theater, music concerts and numerous vacations. Jim, your caring way has been a blessing to me.
May your spirit live on.
Be at peace.
Your dear friend,
Lyle

Our love and prayers go out to the beautiful Zink family..we have been friends for many years through joy and saddness..our hearts are aching for you now.

In love and sorrow
Jerry and Ann Tranzow.

Even though I only knew Jim for a short time I considered him a friend. His stories were always a highlight of my day at work. We will all miss him dearly here at Symmetry Solutions. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Jim was our neighbor from the day we moved into our house, nearly 20 years ago. He was truly the "perfect neighbor"- kind, friendly, patient, and with a great sense of humor. He loved his dogs, and one of THE sounds on our block was his distinctive whistle, when he called them to heel. One of my sons said it well- "it just seems very odd that he's not right next door anymore". Peace and sympathy to his family.

My sympathy goes out to all of Jim's family. I only knew Jim for 5 years, we worked together. He was a very kind hearted man and I will truly miss him. I'm glad I could call him my friend.
