Our community has lost a thoroughly orginal and creative person; the definition of humilty mixed with quiet confidence. Jamey excelled at anything he turned his curious mind to, from poetry to flat picking. And he was finally just a really nice guy. I will miss him.

Although I did not know your husband, I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss of such a beautiful soul. I know he was your soul mate and partner for over twenty years. Time flies. I am in utter shock at this tremendous loss for Dany and her children. All I remember about Jamey was his love for Dany, music and life in general. He surely loved his children, who I did not know, equally. My heart breaks and seeks peace and understanding from a higher power to their hearts and souls. May he rest in peace
