I live on the other side of the world. I saw this story back in 2006 and always remembered Jamie. Every time I watch the music video 'No Rain' by the band Blind Melon, I think of Jamie cause the little bee-girl in the video reminds me of her. The song is about needing love. I hope she's in a better place.

I find it so hard to understand why people do such terrible, terrible things in this world.. I came across the name of your sweet girl in a text book for my criminal justice class.. It hurts me to my core to know what happened to your precious daughter.. but she is in a better place away from any harm or fear, and she lives on in your heart, and the heart of every person who values a human life..
