Jan R. Brooks

I am so sad. I just called her and the number was no longer active. I knew her since the sixties, she was funny. We reconnected in recent years, went to garage sales and to the Dallas Arboretum. I always called in spring to try to get her to go see the wildflowers with me. My condolences to her family and friends.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I taught with Jan over 15 years ago in Red Oak. She was a terrific lady and always kept things upbeat at ERE. She was a hoot!!! You are all in my prayers.

To Mrs. Brooks family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was my 5th grade teacher back in 78 and definitely one of the best.

I taught many years with Jan and I lost touch with her once we both stopped teaching. Jan made me smile every day...she always had a story to tell. I'm one of those people who didn't take the time to write or call to keep in touch and now it's too late. Life always give us lessons to learn. When will I ever learn this lesson? Jan is with our Lord and Savior and a large group of her teacher friends. She's home...and with George.
