Not sure what to say?

Mom, another holiday season thinking about you but not being able to hug you. So many things I still need to ask you, so many things I still need to update you on, so many meals to prepare and so many new memories that you won't be able to make with us. I hope that you and Granny will approve of the changes we have made to our traditions because no one can make stuffing, stewed okra, and ambrosia like you. Of course, that's not to mention all of your color-coordinated decorations, you were...

Another holiday that just won't be the same without you Mom, this one for more reasons than one. It's hard to describe the loss that your absence brings to the yearly anticipation of the holiday season. The year 2020 is an exception only in that the loss expands to everyone else who we are unable to share our family get together with due to covid, as well as all those across the world who are suffering losses and separation from their families at this time of global concern and sacrifice....

Thinking about you Mom as another holiday season nears and I remember the traditions and times spent together with family at each celebration. I miss you, and I miss planning the menu together, and I miss waking up early to have you already knee-deep in turkey and stuffing preparation. I really miss that cup of coffee on the couch after the turkey goes in the oven, and seeing that daily banana with the little slit near the stem that Paw left on the coffee table for you. Little things, big...

So very sorry to hear of Jan's passing. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We don't like losing one of our classmates as we were a very close class even though large in number. Very beautiful picture of her. Class Of 1966 Cathy Dixon Marcantel

Christmas eve day. Tree is up and looks good, Haley helped me, you'd be proud of me got all the presents, things look good, but I sure do miss you honey. I will always miss and love you my sweet wife. God Bless you Pretty Lady, Your Husband, Steven.

A candle for you at Christmas Mom

Mom,I miss you so much each day of this holiday season as I am painfully aware of how much your presence filled each holiday celebration with meaning and light. I miss sharing all of the ways in which our family prepares for honoring the seasons of thankfulness and giving. Your spirit is ever present and the traditions we have experienced in the past will always be a part of our lives. Though this will be my first Christmas without you, I take comfort in that we will spend it together with...

To my friend Jan Estabrook ~ whom I truly admired as a mentor and friend...

You left this world on November 16th but not without a courageous fight ~ and such a lady were you; that you let me think you were still in remission...but that's how you were...a class act!
I remember when we met ~ we worked together at Eton Technical College (which became Bryman College, and then Everest College)
You had worked at DeVry College, and were one of the classiest dressers I had ever...

May God's loving kindness comfort you and help you through this very sad time
