Not sure what to say?

I am sadden to learn of Jan's passing. It always a pleasure to fly and deploy with him. I still remember his hardy laugh and his beaming smile. May he rest in peace, and prayer of comfort for the family!

Jan was one of those guys that you always enjoyed flying with and being deployed with. He made deployments to austere locations a little better. Many found memories RIP old friend.

My deepest sympathy

I am sorry to hear of my stepfathers death, I figured he would outlive me, we used to hike together a lot, we have hiked the Black Worrior land management area many times, I believe they call it " The Sypsy " any way God Bless his Soul...

We met Jan and Kathy at Manatee Hammock Campground 2 years ago. We became friends immediately. What a great couple. We are stunned and saddened by news of Jan's passing. We were looking forward to spending another winter enjoying their company. We are heartbroken for Kathy. We will miss them tremendously. Hopefully we will get to see Kathy and express our condolences at some point.
Our friendship was just beginning. Truly sad news.

I only knew Jan from the ACME dance club. I was around him mostly on cruises and festivals. I admired his accomplishments, but I had no clue of how talented and brilliant he was until I read his obituary here. Jan was very kind and so very helpful to anyone in need. I was shocked at his passing because he reminded me of Tarzan.

With a heavy heart, I am saddened by the loss of my friend. May God put His loving arms around Kathy and Jan's family to comfort all and give you peace. Prayers and love to all.

I used to attend church where Jan attended. He had the most beautiful voice and didn't mind sharing it with the church. My prayers are with the family at this time of great loss.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
