Jan MORTIMER

Dear Jim and family,
We are so saddened by Jan's passing. Such a nice lady, such nice memories.

Had the good fortune to meet Jan in Prague. Cherished long time correspondence and checkers sparing partner. Her cheerful character and warmth will forever be missed. May loving memories ease your loss and bring you comfort.

Like many others, I only knew Jan online. She soon became one of my dearest cyberfriends, and one of my favorite checkers opponents. I will miss her!

Family - I send my love to you all at this time. I wish I could be there to support Rachael and you all, but rest assured my thoughts are with you now.

Jan was a wonderful ambassador for the game. It was a privilege to meet her when she visited Ireland and Britain. She will be sadly missed. Rest in peace dear friend.
