Not sure what to say?

I worked with Jan for many years. I admired her willingness to just say the truth regardless of any political implications. She did this with kindness and not through any motive other than to help and stand up for those in need I aspired to be more like her throughout my career. I saw her as one of the most authentic and courageous people I´ve ever known. Farewell dear Jan. You made a difference more than you know.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I worked with Jan at ESD. She was a beautiful person and so fun to work with. She will be missed by many.

Jan was a wealth of knowledge that I very much enjoyed working with over the years at Employment Security Department. My condolences to her family and friends.

Very sorry to hear this. My condolences to the family and friends. It was a pleasure working with her while she was at ESD.

Jan loved holiday traditions. Her Xmas sing-a-longs were legendary. She had a lovely voice and loved it when we would hit a nice, harmonized tone. This year will have a big hole without her voice and smile. Oh Toby, I'm so sorry. Sending you a huge hug. Loved your Mom so much.

I'm grateful for Jan's good humor, good sense, her amazing work with women's music, and moving forward in life's challenges. We were part of the Gay and Lesbian Support Group for a few years at St Michael, when it was tolerated. I made a donation in her memory to Outreach: An LGBTQ Catholic Resource, a ministry managed by Fr James Martin, SJ. So sorry she's gone.

You will always be remembered Jan. We had some fun times and great conversations over the years. Love, peace and condolences to the family.
