Jan McIlwain Robinson, 53, of Starkville, Mississippi, a loving, dedicated Kindergarten teacher at Starkville Academy since 1989, died at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo on Sunday, February 8, 2004. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2004, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Starkville. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2004, 3 p.m., at the church. Burial will be at Oktibbeha Memorial Gardens Park, officiated by Dr. Olin McBride and Rev. Steve Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Mrs. Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o AmSouth Bank, P.O. Box 1127, Starkville, MS 39760. Arrangements entrusted to Welch Funeral Home, Starkville, Mississippi.

Jan, like her brother and sisters and mother and father was a sweet and wonderful christian person who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

One year ago today, we lost a very precious friend. Her lovely spirit is not forgotten.

Our time spent with Jan and the memories she left with us, remain today in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Dear Kay and Vicky (and the rest of Jan's family) I just wanted you to know that I've thought of all of you several times over the last month plus. With Daddy's death five years ago and Mother's death this past week, we have now experienced "sudden death" and "lingering death". It's not really easy either way. As you know time, memories, friends and especially our faith sustain us. Just wanted to join those in letting you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Kathy
