Not sure what to say?

Hello Linda, Steve and I think of you and your family. As you know Jan was a great man. We think of him and always smile. Wishing you a pleasant Christmas with your family. Steve and Gerri Drew

Dear Linda You might remember me as Elaine Richards who worked with you at the Queen of the Valley Hospital. Some of my fondest memories are of you and Jan up on the mountain. How I loved visiting with you and taking hikes in the beautiful setting of your home. My heart goes out to you for your loss. But as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints now, I have a strong testimony that families can be together forever. This life prepares us for the joy and peace that we have...

I´m visiting Napa from Texas and looked up my old friends. I´m sorry Linda for your loss. I have wonderful memories of visiting you up on the mountain in the 1980s.

I met Jan way back in the 60s when he worked at the drive thru dairy called Drink N Tell on Freeway Dr. and worked with him at Central Valley. Jan made work fun and time go by fast. His friendship ment alot , although I have not seen Jan in a number of years this news was a shock, so sad, God Bless You Jan and God Bless Linda and the kids. He will be missed by all he touched.

Dear Linda and Family, I am feeling crushed by this news. I remember how gentle and kind he was with you, Linda, at the Library. I enjoyed getting your blackberries. Such great memories being neighbors with you at Mt Veeder. May strength be in the numbers who loved you all. Heidi

Our heat is broken to read of Jan's passing. We always enjoyed working with Jan. His approach to everything in life was "Oh Yeah"! We will miss our friend. Sending our deepest sympathy to everyone in the Jan Smith family.

Jan was my T. A. in Don Farmer´s welding class (1969-1970). What a class act. Treated us underlings with complete respect. Learned a lot from Jan. Things I will never forget. Rest In Peace old friend.
