Not sure what to say?

Wish you were coming to the Keys with me. It was always more interesting when you were there. We had such fun and all my family and friends get a smile on their faces when your name comes up. We could all go sailing and watch the sunset.Good times.

Being in the Keys for the fourth, ironically he came to mind yesterday and I did not realize this was the day of passing. We laughed about a memory with him and recalled all the fun experienced with him when he would visit us in the Keys. I surely miss him out in the boat with me and hold him close at heart. Cheryl Westfall-Dania Beach

Sorry Clara.
Best of buds in the 50's.

To dear Clara: I know you will miss him even tho you were no longer together. I always admired the way both of you handled your time apart. too many dear ones have left us, too soon. Nancy

What an interesting life he led, and still had sorrows to bare.Nancy Carr Evans Elizondo, Omaha, Nebraska

Jan left the ormond beach lifeguards just as I was getting there in 1965, but he used to come by and check on us. He was a great guy. And always enjoyed seeing him at the reunions. RIP
