Jan Strucker

Jan was my neighbor in Arlington Va at Filmore garden apts. We struck up a friendship after I had my first child in 2005. She saw me pushing a stroller out in front of our apartments on a brisk fall day and immediately ran out with a baby blanket that she had made. We became friends soon after. She was a very warm and compassionate neighbor ... we lost touch when I retired from United airlines and moved home to Rochester NY. Jan Strucker was a natural comedienne whose humor was as good as any comedienne celebrity of the 1970s. She was almost my roommate at West Chester. When she received her nursing name tag as `Ms. Jan Strucker´, she lamented wanting `Miss Jan Strucker´ so that men would know she is single & available!
