Not sure what to say?

I received a phone call from a old friend I haven't seen or spoken with for a long time (Trout) last night with the terrible news of Spike's short battle with cancer. Thirty some years ago Spike and I explored and fished the lakes and rivers of Minnesota and Canada and had a great time. Most of the time we fished by canoe and a electric trolling motor. Later a real boat.
Today I am leaving for Canada to go fishing with my daughter and I know my wonderful thoughts and memories of...

Spike is and forever will be truly loved by the family. We all cared for her, she was the auntie we all could laugh and joke with, her sense of humor will never be forgotten. Her compassions were unsurpassed, the love between her and uncle charley was the greatest i have ever seen, my sympathy goes out to Uncle Charley and the Gudmestad Family, she will be in our thoughts and memories enternally.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Uncle Charley and the Gudmestad Family. We all loved Spike as an Aunt and friend. Her smile and presence will be deeply missed. Even if we haven't been in touch for awhile doesn't mean that we've forgotten the memories. We're thinking about you everyday in your time of sorrow.

Spike was a wonderful and loving person. She had a great sense of humor to match my brother Charley's. She will be greatly missed by our family.

Our love and prayers surround your family at this time of sorrow. We fondly remember you as early companions on this journey of life. Some people make lasting impressions as they touch our hearts. Your family touched us. May your remembrances of Jan warm your hearts. Tinka and Otto
